Management Changes Are Planned for Suominen Corporation

Several key management changes are planned for Suominen Corporation. Among them, Esa Palttala, executive vice president of the wipes and nonwovens business area, will retire in July. Vice president Pekka Rautala, general manager of the wet wipes business unit, and vice president Sakari Santa-Paavola, general manager of the nonwovens business unit, will report to Kalle Tanhuanpää, the president and CEO of Suominen Corporation, effective August 2006.

In another change, Petri Rolig will take over as vice president and general manager of Suominen Flexible Packag­ing in October. Juha Henttonen, currently holding the position, will then move to work on projects within the group. Mr. Rolig will start at Suominen Flexible Packaging in August. He is coming from Huhtamäki, where he served as R&D director.
