New Chairman of the American Fiber Manufacturers Asso­ciation

William Ghitis has been named chairman of the American Fiber Manufacturers Asso­ciation. Vice president of apparel for Invista, Mr. Ghitis succeeds Walter Hub­bard, CEO of Honeywell Nylon. Vice president of Unifi-SANS Technical Fibers, Zach Zacharias has been named vice chairman. Other elected members of the AFMA executive committee are Steven Fredricks, president, Fi­berScience Inc.; James More­lli, executive vice president sales and marketing, Ame­rican Fibers & Yarns; Henry Poston, president, Palmetto Synthetics and Robert Re­bello, president and CEO, RadiciSpandex.
