Slitting System

November 15, 2005

Dienes Werke has introduced the Twin Cut fully automatic slitting system designed to process products, such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens by utilizing a set of identical knives on the top and bottom, which employ non-compression (NC) technology. The new slitting system allows for adjustable slit widths and can be operated at speeds between zero to 2500 m/min. The control panel has been designed to be operator friendly, allowing the operator to easily create slitting program sequences without the need for any EDP knowledge. All programs are menu-driven. Saved slitting formats can be retrieved and new slitting setups can be programmed within a short time window.
