Reusable Underlay

October 3, 2005

Dyckhoff has extended its range of Trevira Bioactive textiles to include reusable underlays for beds. Composed of four layers, the underlay is breathable, watertight and impermeable to urine and blood. It can absorb liquids up to 480 ml/m2. Customers can also be confident in the underlay's durability (i.e. can be boil washed and spin-dried) and its hygienic properties, which prevent bacteria growth. These benefits will enable hospitals and care sectors to maximize efficiency while simultaneously being able to cut costs.
