Elastomeric Nonwoven With Attached Superabsorbent Polymer

Patented is an absorbent, elastomeric material comprising an elastomeric substrate with at least one open web facing. A superabsorbent polymer includes particles that encase fibers with at least one open web facing. At least some of the non-adhesively attached superabsorbent polymer is spread through at least about 50% of a thickness of at least one open web facing.
