Patented is a diaper to be worn by a user, comprising a first absorbent layer with a center portion. The center portion has an inward facing surface directed toward the user when the diaper is worn and an outward facing surface directed away from the user when the diaper is worn. The diaper also has a first opening. A second absorbent layer lies beneath the first absorbent layer and includes a second opening aligned with the first opening. The second opening is larger than the first opening.
A third absorbent layer lies beneath the second absorbent layer and includes a third opening aligned with the second opening. The third opening is larger than the second opening. A sealing layer lies beneath the third absorbent layer. The first, second and third opening and the sealing layer combine to define a feces receiver lying proximate the outward facing surface. The increasing size of the first, second and third openings defines an undercut side wall in the feces receiver. The second and third absorbent layers have sufficient strength to prevent the collapse of the feces receiver under the weight of the user.
