Patented is a polyester film that has a base layer B made from a thermoplastic polyester that has a sealable outer layer A. On the other side of the base layer is a nonsealable outer layer C. The outer layers A and C comprise at least one antiblocking agent. The film comprises at least one UV absorber and at least one flame retardant. The sealable outer layer A has a minimum sealing temperature of less than 110° C. and a seal seam strength of at least 1.3 N/15 mm. The sealable outer layer A has a roughness value, Ra, of less than 30 nm.
