Pattern embossed multilayer microporous films

A patent has been issued for a multilayer film comprised of a microporous layer with a thickness less than 30 micrometers and a weight of 35% filler and polymer. A second microporous layer is joined with the first layer, with a thickness less than 30 micrometers and at least 35% of its weight is comprised of filler, polymer and a coloring agent. The multilayer film weighs less than 45 g/m2, a WVTR in excess of 500 g/m2/24 hours and a hydrohead of 50 mbars. The multilayer film has embossed and non-embossed regions where the embossed regions color-contrast with the non-embossed regions.
