Description:
Patented is a sanitary napkin for wearing in the crotch portion of an undergarment. The napkin consists of a first liquid-permeable sheet of material, a second liquid-permeable sheet of material that is disposed adjacent to the first sheet and an absorbent member disposed adjacent to the second sheet. The second sheet is arranged to receive liquid deposited on the first sheet and then it transfers the liquid to the absorbent member. The napkin has a thickness of less than or equal to 5mm, when dry, and a penetration time of less than 15 seconds.
