A child protective cover, comprising an upper layer of soft absorbent material and a lower layer of moisture-impervious materials, has been patented. The upper and lower layers form a panel with opposite sides and edges. A border area extends part way along the upper surface that is adjacent to the sides and edges. Fastener tabs extend from the sides and have a fastening surface engageable with the border to form a partial enclosure in which a child may be placed. There is also a removable section in the panel for the child’s legs.
