A pleated nonwoven filter fabric that can be applied in pleated filters has been patented. The fabric comprises a plurality of sheath-core conjugate filaments in which the filament core component is made of a polymer that is higher in melting point than the sheath component. The fabric’s surfaces contain compressively bonded and dented portions at dotted locations.
