Disposable Disposable Diaper

Patented is a disposable diaper comprising a liquid-pervious topsheet and a liquid-impervious backsheet surrounding a liquid-absorbent core. The diaper also contains a front and rear waist region and a crotch region. A first elastically stretchable member lies in a middle zone of the liquid-absorbent core and extends longitudinally from the diaper between the front and rear waist regions. The elastically stretchable member is secured under tension to the backsheet at portions of the first elastically stretchable member. A pair of second elastically stretchable members, which lie in transversely opposite side zones of the core and extend longitudinally from the diaper between the front and rear waist regions, are disposed between the backsheet and the core.
