Atlanta-based Kimberly-Clark Professional has become an official partner o fMercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS). This partnership will offer enhanced sustainable solutions in all stadium restrooms from some of the K-C's core brands. Each stadium restroom will feature fully recyclable product solutions with Kimberly-Clark Professional’s The RightCycle Program, where single-use PPE and wet wipes are transformed into new consumer goods.
“We’re thrilled to partner with an iconic Atlanta sports and entertainment facility who mirrors our passion for being a leader in sustainability,” says Susan Gambardella, President, Kimberly-Clark Professional North America. “We pride ourselves on being a responsible supplier that can help our customers reduce their collective footprint while making workplaces healthier, safer and more productive.”
The partnership will include the installation of Kimberly Clark Professional’s ICON towel and toilet tissue dispenser systems leveraging ICON’s custom faceplate feature, the latest advancement in reliable and sustainable dispensing with a premium aesthetic. Kimberly-Clark Professional will also supply stadium staff with recyclable PPE gear (such as nitrile gloves and coveralls) that MBS can recycle through Kimberly-Clark Professional’s RightCycle Program.
With The RightCycle™ Program, eligible non-hazardous Kimberly-Clark Professional PPE products are collected at end-user facilities after use and instead of going to a landfill, they are sent to a recycling partner and turned into plastic pellets used to make durable consumer goods.
“Mercedes-Benz Stadium values partnerships with like-minded organizations to remain a world-class facility,” says Dietmar Exler, chief operating officer, AMB Sports and Entertainment. “Our partnership with Kimberly-Clark Professional reinforces our commitment to sustainability and aligns with our core values, further empowering our commitment to a more sustainable future.”
