PFNonwovens, a global leader in the production of customized, innovative nonwovens, announced that its Znojmo, Czech Republic facility has again passed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Plus (ISCC+) audit this month. The ISCC Plus certification enables traceable supply chains for mass-balance solutions of sustainable raw materials (recycled and bio-based).
“The ISCC Plus certification demonstrates PFNonwovens’s commitment to provide sustainable solutions to its hygiene and medical customers. We offer a range of products based on the mass-balanced approach, as well as nonwoven fabrics with a high content of bio-sourced polymers and recycled polymers,” says Tonny de Beer, Chief Product, Technology and Sustainability Officer. “In addition, all of our nonwovens in Znojmo are produced with renewable energy”.
