Nan Liu Enterprise, a Taiwanese nonwovens producer, has begun to construct a production site in India.
The company has already been making spunlaced and thermal bonded nonwovens at one factory in China and three in Taiwan with a total output between 65,000-70,000 tons per year. The company has produced wet tissue, face mask and gown and drapematerials for operating rooms.
The new Indian faciity is expected to begin operation in the third quarter of 2020 and will eventually make wet tissue and face masks in addition to nonwovens.
