Kimberly-Clark Australia’s U by Kotex (UbK) brand is expanding its everyday liners range – introducing the ‘Nude in Black Liner’ and ‘Cotton Liner’ – two new options for women to protect their underwear and achieve everyday freshness.
UbK listened to feedback from Aussie women - 57% of whom claim they are still unsure about the role of liners outside period days, while others have avoided liner use based on concerns about irritation, discomfort and embarrassment.
In response, UbK has developed additional offerings in its liners range that directly address women’s concerns, with benefits that include increased breathability, comfort and discretion – two new ways for women to manage discharge and retain a fresh feeling beyond their cycle days:
Women can forget the days of fearing a protruding white liner will be visible under their little black dress with the launch of the new Nude in Black liner - developed to provide wafer-thin protection in a discreet black color. In fact, black is the most frequently worn color in a woman’s weekly underwear cycle (at 2.9 days a week), and the liner comes with added benefits including a breathable backing and ability to convert for G-string wear.
Catering to those women who are seeking sanitary protection made from more natural materials – UbK has added a Cotton Liner to the range.
Including a 100% cotton cover sheet, the Ubk Cotton Liner is designed to be super thin, highly breathable and comfortable for all day use – hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
“At U by Kotex, we are continually looking for new ways to help Aussie women avoid common stigmas associated with periods and feminine hygiene protection. We are thrilled to be offering two new ways for women to comfortably manage every day sanitary requirements and maintain a fresh and clean feeling all day long,” says Fiona Kelly, senior brand manager for U by Kotex Australia.
The new U by Kotex Nude in Black and Cotton liners are available now in all major grocery and pharmacy retailers and online.
