Vinda International announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2016. The company’s total revenue was up by 19.5% to HK$5.7 billion ($734.8 million) with organic growth of 14.5%. Revenue from the Tissue business amounted to HK$4.9 billion ($631.7 million) with organic growth of 14%. Revenue from the Personal Care business was HK$743 million ($95.8 million) with organic growth of 22%, accounting for 13% of the Group’s total revenue (second quarter of 2016: 21% of total revenue). E-commerce maintained a high growth momentum in revenue, accounting for 17% of total sales. Vinda successfully integrated the acquired SCA Asia business from April 1, 2016. Through the acquisition, Vinda is now also equipped with three additional production bases (two in Malaysia and one in Taiwan).
