INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, is launching a new training course called Wipes Academy, which will provide comprehensive training to industry professionals centered on the wipes product and market segment. The first session will be held October 8-9 at INDA Headquarters in Cary, NC.
The two-day Wipes Academy will feature training focused on every facet of the market, which achieves about $6 billion in end-use sales in North America. The course will detail wipes product materials and converting processes and cover applications and influential issues like regulations and flushability.
The course will be led by Rob Johnson of Smith, Johnson & Associates, an industry expert with more than 35 years of nonwovens experience.
Dave Rousse, INDA’s president, says, “This new course will be essential for wipes professionals looking to learn about nonwoven substrates, ingredients, packaging, converting, and the development and manufacturing of wipes. The Wipes Academy will enhance any wipes professional’s knowledge, and expand their set of options to advance their business prospects.”
