Sigmatexs makes €2.8mn investment

Sigmatex has announced a €2.8 million investment at its Runcorn, UK facility that will come on stream in the second quarter. The investment includes a state-of-the-art Liba Multi-axial line and a dedicated Meyer Powder Coating line incorporating infrared heating and a belt press, to enhance the company’s strategy for nonwoven fabrics it says. The investment in capital equipment is being supported with a more than a 20% increase in operational staff into the Runcorn facility.
