Pegas Nonwovens, the Czech Republic's largest nonwovens manufacturer, completed qualification on its new spunmelt line in Egypt. Now in commercialization mode, the new line is capable of producing 20,000 tons of nonwovens per year which will largely target the local market. Pegas announced the line in June 2011, saying it was being built in accordance with a long-term supply agreement with one of its customers.

In other news, Pegas announced that its 2013 EBITDA should be in the €37-39 million range. The company will announce its 2013 results in March.
