JM increases prices

Polyester nonwovens prices up 5% in Europe.

Johns Manville, a leading producer of construction and specialty products, has announced a 5% price increase for polyester nonwovens for bituminous roofing applications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, effective April 1, 2014. The company reports that the price increase is necessary because of an unsatisfactory margin levels in these regions.
