Regent Neotex (Moscow, Russian Federation) has completed work on a new triple spunbond line from Reifenhauser GmbН (Reicofil technology).
The Reicofil R4 Special line will produce polypropylene spunbond nonwovens weighing between 8 and 70 gsm for both durable and disposable markets in Russia and Europe. Targetapplications include hygiene products including baby diapers, fem care, adult incontinence items and underpads) as
well as protective apparel, construction, agriculture and furniture.
Regent currently operates two Reicofil lines at this Moscow location, which together make 26,500 tons yearly.The new line has been operational since December and will run commercially starting February 2012.It is
expected to produce another 18,000 tons to meet growing demand from Russian and European customers.
