Reicofil Pilot To Be Installed at NC State

Reifenhäuser Reicofil and The Nonwovens Institute (NWI) at North Carolina State University have partnered to install a one-meter-wide Reicofil meltblown line at the institute.NWI sees this expansion as an essential step in the continual investment in state-of-the-art fiber and nonwoven technologies.The new pilot line, scheduled for completion in October and for booking trials in January, will enhance NWI’s ability to continue its mission as a leader in education, research and product development for the nonwovens and affiliated industries.

The German machinery manufacturer Reifenhäuser Reicofil, a subsidiary of the Reifenhäuser Group, is the worldwide leading supplier of nonwoven, meltblown and composite lines. The Reicofil technology enables customers to produce superior quality nonwoven fabrics for a broad range of applications in hygiene, medicine, filtration and industry.
