After four days, more than 500 exhibitors and literally thousands of visitors, INDEX 11 closed its doors Friday afternoon at Pal Expo in Geneva. Held once every three years, the INDEX show is considered Europe's largest nonwovens-related trade show and is part of the three-year rotation of global nonwovens exhibitions that rotate between Europe, North America and Asia.
This year, INDEX including two tutorials—one on innovation and one on packaging, the presentation of the INDEX 11 Awards, an IFAI-sponsored conference on technical fabrics and a number of exhibitor presentations.
Next year, the nonwovens industry's big show will be held in Korea, for the first time, when ANEX 2012 moves to Seoul June 13-15. This event is sponsored by ANEX.
And, in 2013, IDEA will return to the Miami Beach Convention Center. The North American leg of the rotation is sponsored by INDA.
