April 10, 2011

Velvtouch materials are produced with a special technology to give enhanced features to substrates.

At INDEX, Texsus will showcase its recently patented Velvtouch material (elastic, perforated film and spunbonded) produced with a special technology aimed to give enhanced features to regular substrates. By this innovative process, plenty of different materials can be treated to obtain an extremely soft touch and a fancy look.

Also on display will be Texsus’ Multitex nonwovens, which can combine a soft topsheet and an high loft ADL in one unique structure as an effective solution for a more sustainable usage of raw materials since they reduce the weight of the finished product and avoid any need for glue.

In other news, Texsus
recently doubled its air through bonding production capacity, adding an additional line fully equipped with the latest modern technologies. The new capacity is mainly dedicated to the production of Acquitex High Loft ADL, including high grammage and multilayers materials, and Softex Soft Topsheets.

Furthermore, Texsus has improved its packaging services thanks to two modern spooling lines able to produce spool rolls that handle up to 50 km of High Loft ADL.
