Uwe Wöhner is relinquishing his position as CEO of Trevira at the end of the year for personal reasons. Klaus Holz, the long-standing head of corporate human resources at the company, became CEO on January 1, 2011.

Mr. Holz previously served in various capacities in personnel units of the former Hoechst-Konzern before joining Trevira.

"In his time as CEO of Trevira, Uwe Wöhner shaped the company decisively. In a period of crisis, he ensured continuity, implemented the restructuring and created the preconditions for the present situation, one where the company has a solid base for a profitable business and where it was in a position to maintain the confidence of customers and partners," said Werner Schneider, chair of the supervisory board.
