December 22, 2010

Sophisticated line targets hygiene.

Turkey’s The Hassan Group has extended its range of nonwoven products with the investment of a sophisticated air-through bonding line for the manufacture of acquisition/distribution layer (ADL) materials. These materials are used in baby diapers, sanitary napkins and adult incontinence products. The line, located in the group’s company Merkas A.S., is also capable of producing complementary nonwoven products especially used in medical composites. The group company Merkas A.S. can supply over 8000 tons of nonwovens annually.
