“HonorBibs are perfect for those walking in an event such as a breast cancer walk or running a race in honor of someone,” said Alexandre Garrett, president and founder of HonorBib LLC."The idea for HonorBibs was thought of by Garrett at mile 14 when she was running her first marathon in May 2009. As she ran, she watched thousands of runners honoring loved ones with signs on their backs created with bubble pens, cardboard signs and pictures tucked inside plastic baggies. “When I thought of HonorBibs, I didn’t want to just start a business to produce yet one more product in the world.” said Garrett. “I want to make a difference by giving back and helping others. Pollyanna? Maybe. But it’s exactly how I feel.”
HonorBibs are sold for $10 each and at least 10% of each one sold is donated to charity.
