Wake County Economic Development named Jennifer Bosser assistant executive director. Ms. Bosser’s responsibilities include overseeing day to day operations, pursuing strategic initiatives and projects, and serving as the lead contact for existing industry expansion and recruitment efforts for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and advanced medical technology industries.
Ms. Bosser gained vast experience in the economic development through her work with the Washington, DC. Economic Development Partnership where she managed the city’s retention and outreach program, which conducted over 2000 visits a year with C-Level executives. She comes from the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), where she was the vice president of executive engagement and enterprise strategy. She has expertise in developing and implementing marketing strategies and leveraging relationships with partners, industry organizations and corporate leaders.
