BST Defect Detection

Plastilene S.A., a leading South American converter of flexible packages has completed a trial of automatic print Defect Detection on three BST Premius inspection systems at the company’s Bogota, Colombia production facility. The trial of defect detection took place over two months on three BST Premius inspection systems installed on W & H Flexo presses. Plastilene wanted to improve the effectiveness of defect detection and to quantify the impact and determine its ROI. Plastilene produces flexible packages for solid and liquid food and agricultural products on a wide range of extensible films at high speeds.
