Filtration 2009 International Conference & Exposition opened yesterday at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL. Sponsored by INDA, the show included a conference program titled “Keep Pace with the Industry,” and an Exposition: “One-Stop Shopping for Filter Manufacturers & Suppliers.”
According to INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, 107 exhibitors representing all areas of the filtration supply chain are presenting their offerings at the trade show today and tomorrow while an extensive three-day conference program, which began yesterday, covers diverse aspects of filtration technology, new products and research.
According to INDA President Rory Holms, this year's event included an impressive 21 exhibitors are from outside the U.S. Of domestic exhibitors, 33% are from the Midwest; 25% from the northeast and 19% from the Southeast.
INDA expects close to 1500 attendees from 25 countries to gather in Chicago this week for Filtration 2009 to network, attend the conference and walk the aisles of the exhibition hall.
“As it returns to Chicago after a successful show in Philadelphia last year, Filtration 2009 will certainly live up to its reputation as the most important and largest gathering of the global filtration business this year in North America,” said INDA president Rory Holmes in anticipation of the event.
In addition to the exposition, the Filtration 2009 Conference provides provide insight into the latest technical developments in filtration from some of the industry’s leading companies and research institutions.
