Doyen Medipharm opens converting process development area.


Doyen Medipharm, a specialist supplier of converting and packaging machines for the medical and pharmaceutical industries with sites in the UK, U.S. and Malaysia, has set up a dedicated converting process development area at its manufacturing site in Wymondham, UK.The new development area has been set up to assist transdermal and wound care manufacturers in establishing the best converting process for their product. Re-evaluating the existing manufacturing process of a marketed product when considering a dedicated system for up-scaling to high volume production can improve efficiency, while development of a custom process before product launch can increase speed to market and improve long-term product profitability, stated the company.
