Sanitars Invests With Rieter

Third spunlace line came onstream two months ago.

A new Rieter spunlace line has started up at a an Italian nonwovens producer. The company Sanitars,already operates two spunlace lines from Rieter.

Sanitars entered the cosmetics field more than 30 years ago with an innovative installation for producing cotton make-p balls and confirmed itself as a specialist manufacturer of high-quality cotton products in 1992 when a first Perfojet unit was purchased for the production of cotton discs for use as make-up pads.

In 1995 Sanitars decided to invest in a second spunlace line, the JETlace 000 anda third investment was made last year. Sanitars'latest JETlace machine is designed for the production of state-of-the-art cotton fabrics for end uses as wipes or cotton pads. This new line has been in operation for two months and Sanitars can supply a full range of nonwoven products from cotton fibers.
