Several personnel changes have taken place at Nordson Corporation recently. Topping the list, Andy Dunn, corporate senior vice president of Nordson Corporation’s Advanced Technology Systems segment, has retired. Chairman, CEO and president Edward Campbell has announced new roles for current members of Nordson’s leadership team as part of an orderly transition.
Effective immediately, John Keane, corporate senior vice president and leader of the company’s Adhesive Dispensing Systems segment, moves to the Advanced Technology Systems segment where he will lead Nordson’s Asymtek, March Plasma Systems, YESTech and Picodostec businesses. Peter Lambert, corporate vice president, will continue to lead Nordson’s other Advanced Technology Systems businesses and will report directly to Mr. Campbell. Corporate vice president Michael Groos will continue to lead the Adhesive Dispensing Systems business in Europe.
Commenting on Mr. Dunn’s retirement after 37 years, Mr. Campbell said, "Mr. Dunn has had a remarkable career at Nordson. Over the course of nearly four decades, he has consistently helped to guide Nordson’s expansion, both geographically and technologically, and his achievements are numerous. He especially deserves credit for his leadership of Nordson’s Advanced Technology segment, which has grown from being a small and narrowly focused niche business to one that is a diversified, global portfolio of market-leading businesses that amounts to approximately one-third of the company’s total revenues. We thank him for his many years of service to Nordson, and we wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement."
In the nonwovens and web coating area, Michael Fornes has been appointed market development manager for the North American market. In this capacity, Mr. Fornes will direct all regional marketing initiatives for Nordson’s nonwovens and web coating businesses, including driving new applications to market, leveraging current Nordson solutions and capitalizing on new market trends.
Mr. Fornes joined Nordson in 1992 and has held a number of senior positions in the nonwovens, web coating, product assembly and powder coating businesses. Most recently, he was global marketing manager for Nordson’s nonwovens systems business.
