Wellington Custom Fabrics has appointed Stacey Richmond general manager

January 1, 2009

Wellington Custom Fabrics, a converter/distributor of apparel accessories including embroidery backings, has appointed Stacey Richmond general manager effective last month. Last year the company was acquired by Boyd Technologies, a South Lee, MA-based management firm that operates specialty materials converter/distributors and markets the breakthrough technologies that use those materials.

"It is an honor to offer this position to Ms. Richmond," said Dennis Martin, president of Wellington Custom Fabrics. "She is a leader in our business and has been a superstar during the last year." He added that Ms. Richmond was chosen because of her knowledge of the embroidery market, excellent customer relationships and tacit knowledge of Wellington Custom Fabrics.
