Tidland Corporation has added Model D5, a core-slip design that enables a faster response to slit recipe changes, improved efficiency and accuracy in high-volume operations to its existing line of differential shafts. The Model D5 features removable, interchangeable core position trays to simplify core repositioning and loading. The core position tray also allows simultaneous adjustment of core position, reducing the overall setup time. This new design rounds out a complete line of core-lock and core-slip differential shafts from Tidland, designed to increase profitability when rewinding multiple rolls of material that may be subject to caliper variation.
