EBM Techniek, VMI Holland Join Forces
Effective January 1, EBM Techniek BV will integrate with VMI Holland BV. The activities of EBM Techniek will continue within the VMI Group as a separate product group called EBM Product Handling Systems. Both EBM and VMI are subsidiaries of the TKH Group in Haaksbergen.
The integration is expected to better utilize the synergies between the two machine companies. The relocation of EBM Techniek to the VMI Holland industrial park in Epe, The Netherlands in May 2007 allowed the two companies to carry out larger projects together. The cooperation between EBM and VMI has resulted in a decision to merge both companies into one legal entity.
The VMI Group now has 800 employees worldwide with its headquarters in Epe and sales, service and production facilities in Germany, Russia, the U.S., Brazil, China and Malaysia. VMI is a leading supplier of tire manufacturing machinery.
EBM specializes in product handling systems and remains active in a certain non-food markets including nonwovens.
