Broughton Receives Leadership Award

Professor earns TAPPI Leadership and Service Award.

Roy Broughton of Auburn University has received the 2008 TAPPI Nonwovens Division Leadership and Service Award and Rohm and Haas prize at INTC. Dr. Broughton has been recognized for outstanding leadership and exceptional service, which have resulted in significant and demonstratable benefits to the division's members. He is a full professor of textile engineering at Auburn University. After receiving his Ph.D. from NCSU in 1970, he served as research chemist with Goodyear before becoming a professor at Auburn University in 1976.
