Rockline Forms Sustainable Nonwovens Partnership

December 10, 2007

Strateline and Rockline have formed a strategic partnership to make sustainable cotton nonwovens and wet wipes.

Strateline Industries, Rogers, AR, and Rockline Industries, Sheboygan, WI, have formed a strategic partnership to manufacture sustainable cotton nonwoven substrates and wet wipe products. This relationship brings together unmatched expertise in nonwoven wipes marketing, processing and manufacturing, and the innovative repurposing of post-industrial SmartStreams. According to the companies, they will be the first to provide high-content, sustainably regenerated, cotton-based nonwovens to personal and home care wipes consumers.

“This partnership is a game changer in the nonwovens industry,” said Randy Rudolph, president, Rockline Industries. “Our customers seek sustainable nonwovens without sacrificing quality to support their platforms on corporate sustainability while meeting customer expectations. This partnership can provide that solution.”

Joy Nunn, Strateline/SSI, commented, “There is no better partner in the nonwovens industry than Rockline, and we are thrilled to create together an end product with this kind of impact.”
