DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products as a result of the additional cost of ethylene glycol.

DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products as a result of the additional cost of ethylene glycol. Effective December 15, 2007, the company will increase polyester staple fiber prices by $0.04 per pound. According to a recent statement from DAK, due to the intensifying crisis of global ethylene glycol supply, the market price of this key polyester raw material continues to advance beyond expectations.
