DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products as a result of the additional cost of ethylene glycol. Effective December 15, 2007, the company will increase polyester staple fiber prices by $0.04 per pound. According to a recent statement from DAK, due to the intensifying crisis of global ethylene glycol supply, the market price of this key polyester raw material continues to advance beyond expectations.

DAK executives report that the company is committed to the polyester staple fiber business and will continue to supply quality products, innovation and service to our customers.
