Roll goods producer Lydall, Manchester, CT, has released financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. Quarterly sales reached $81.5 million, up from $80.1 million during the year-ago third quarter. Meanwhile, year-to-date 2007 sales climbed to $253 million, an increase over the $245.7 million the company earned during the first three quarters of 2006.
The company’s net income for the third quarter was $1.9 million while year-to-date net income was $6.7 million. Operating income for the Thermal/Acoustical segment increased by $0.5 million for the current quarter compared with the third quarter of 2006.
Net sales for the quarter in Lydall’s Filtration/Separation segment totaled $54 million, a slight decline from $54.1 million during the third quarter of last year.
