DAK To Raise Staple Fiber Price

DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products.

Due to a global increase in the raw material cost of ethylene glycol, a key ingredient in the production of polyester products, DAK Americas will increase prices for all polyester staple fiber products.

Effective December 1, 2007, DAK Americas will increase polyester staple fiber prices by $0.03 per pound.

According to a release from the company, “DAK is committed to the polyester staple fiber business and will continue to supply quality products, innovation and service to customers.”
