Rockline Industries, Booneville, AR, will locate a new wet wipes manufacturing and distribution facility in Booneville, investing $5 million and creating more than 200 jobs over the next five years. Warehousing is scheduled to begin before the end of the year with production beginning in March 2008.
Rockline is a manufacturer of private label coffee filters and wet wipes, with more than 1800 employees located at six facilities worldwide, including more than 500 employees at their Springdale, AR facility.
The Booneville facility will be the first site in the company’s North American expansion program to add three new wet wipes manufacturing and distribution facilities. According to Nick Santoleri, Rockline’s vice president of manufacturing, Arkansas edged out two other states to win the first expansion.
According to Rockline, Arkansas is the largest wet wipes-producing state in the U.S. Upon completion, the Booneville facility is set to be the largest wet wipes facility in the world.
