Performance Fibers, one of the world's leading producers of polyester fibers and materials, has announced new products and investments in key areas to meet customer demands. The new products include spun-dyed high tenacity yarns for use in coated fabrics in awnings, banners, signs and other outdoor uses. Available in a wide variety of colors, these yarns are high-strength, colorfast and fade-resistant. The yarn maintains its color and does not bleed in water, making it also suited for ropes and cordage applications.

Also new is 1H75 fiber for tire reinforcement and industrial applications represents an advancement in the company's portfolio of Dimensional Stable Polyester (DSP fiber) products. 1H75 fiber is designed to deliver a significant increase in strength while maintaining dimensional stability, for tire cord, power transmission belting and hose applications.

In addition to1H75, the company offers A360 fiber, a high tenacity, ultra-high modulus, low-shrinkage polyester that has been designed to meet or exceed the performance of rayon in high-performance passenger tires.
