Dan-Web Ownership Changes

June 28, 2007

Company on track for growth.

The Danish-owned Equity Partner IndustriUdvikling has taken over the ownership of Dan-Web in cooperation with Kurt Sørensen, Claus Bentzen and Hans Houlind. The new owners have paid DKK 20 million in new capital as well as a loan capital of DKK 10 million, which was converted into responsible capital.

This ownership change is part of a turnaround process headed by Hans Houlind with Kurt Sørensen to create a new platform for the company. Today it holds a competence platform that will enable the company to solve a vast variety of the tasks required by the nonwovens industry. Throughout the years, Dan-Web has been one of the leading suppliers of equipment based on airlaid technology and after this turn-around process the company will again be fit for growth. Already, the company has developed processes and machinery for manufacturing hygiene products, liquid absorbent products for the food industry, building material and various filter products
