Needlepunched material resist bacteria growth.

Foss Manufacturing has teamed with Hytex Industries to introduce antimicrobial wallcoverings made with patented all-natural Fosshield antimicrobial technology.  Hytex Industries, based in Randolph, MA., is a leading supplier of decorative textiles to both the commercial interiors and industrial segments. When needlepunched into wallcoverings, Fosshield can inhibit the growth of destructive bacteria, mold, mildew and fungus. Ideal for offices, schools, theaters, hospitals, hotels and cruise ships, this unique textile from Hytex is a lightweight, fire- and fade-resistant option for covering vertical surfaces. Additionally, Hytex wallcoverings are offered in a plethora of patterns and colors, adding to the aesthetic value of virtually any space.
Hytex also manufactures wallcoverings with Foss’ Ecospun fiber made from 100% certified recycled plastic PET bottles, for an added eco-friendly benefit. All Hytex needlepunched fabrics are produced without any volatile organic compounds (VOC), ozone depleting substances (ODS's), heavy metals or formaldehyde.
