Deerfield Urethane, Inc. is expanding its high-performance Dureflex line of thermoplastic and specialty elastomer film and sheet, introducing three versatile, new grades: X2140 High Slip / No Bloom / Low Gloss, X2133 Highly Elastic / Highly Recoverable, and X2103 Non-Halogenated Fire Retardant.

Dureflex X2140 is an aromatic polyether polyurethane film or sheet grade that is additive-free and specially formulated to provide high slip and low gloss without blooming.  There is nothing in the film to interfere with adhesion or inks.  This grade exhibits excellent hydrolysis and fungus resistance and is recommended for applications that have continuous exposure to water and high-humidity environments.  This product can be used in textile applications as a protective and / or adhesive layer, or as.

“stand alone” film in demanding elastic applications requiring urethane’s excellent wear properties.   The base resin used in this  grade complies with FDA regulatory standards 21 CFR 177.1680 and 21 CFR 177.2600, and therefore can be used in direct and indirect contact with food applications.
