Senior Vice President of Marketing

Westport, CT-based Playtex Products, Inc. has named Gary Cohen senior vice president, marketing. Mr. Cohen has more than 18 years of classical consumer packaged goods experience and was previously at The Gillette Company, which was acquired by Procter & Gamble in 2005. He served as vice president, oral care global business management with full responsibility for the global P&L of Gillette’s Oral B division, generating nearly $2 billion in net sales. During his tenure at Gillette, Mr. Cohen operated across the U.S., Europe and global markets within the shaving, personal care and oral care businesses including the feminine shaving and deodorant brands.

Chairman, president and CEO of Playtex, Neil DeFeo stated, “Mr. Cohen brings to Playtex significant experience in classical marketing as well as global operations, new product development, innovation, strategic planning and leadership development. We look forward to his contributions to Playtex.”
