March 15, 2007

Parkinson’s new Contractor Roll Winder is designed to produce finished rolls in line with the process or off-line from jumbo rolls. With the Contractor Roll Winder, the customer can generate finished rolls on contractor size cores ranging from 1.0 to 6.0 inches and widths from 54 to 120 inches. The winder features a high degree of automation which results in reduced manual labor and increased productivity.

The Contractor Roll Winder, known as The Mark II CR, is designed to produce 50 to 150 linear foot finished rolls of nonwoven, film, paper or laminated web materials for various end products. The winder system will automatically load new cores, start a new roll, glue the tail and eject a finished roll with a cycle time of less than 30 seconds. This is a rugged system designed for continuous mill duty with an extremely high degree of reliability.
