February 15, 2007

Americo Manufacturing, a leading maker of floor pads, hand pads, filter media, geotextiles and other nonwoven materials, has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with a new state-of-the-art production line. According to company executives, the new equipment will increase productivity and capacity at Americo’s Acworth, GA facility.  The company also has a manufacturing facility in Cartersville, GA and a distribution facility in Los Angeles, CA.  “Americo has experienced unprecedented growth over the past several years.  Today, we ship product to all 50 states as well as 55 or more countries worldwide,” said CEO Leonard Shutzberg.

Meeting and exceeding customer needs with high quality products and exceptional service has always been a guiding principle at Americo.  By expanding production capabilities, Americo is able to focus on satisfying customer demand while gaining significant competitive advantages. “Surpassing our customer’s expectations is what we’re all about at Americo. This expansion will assure our customers of the same fast, efficient service that they’ve come to expect from Americo,” said president, Richard Rones.
